The Mississippi Wing of the Commemorative Air Force recently welcomed members of the City of Madison and the Madison the City Business Network for a special evening of networking, fellowship, and aviation during the latest Jive After Five event.

Hosted at the CAF hangar on Old Canton Road, the gathering provided local business leaders, community members, and guests with a unique opportunity to connect in an atmosphere unlike any other.

Surrounded by historic aircraft, military artifacts, and living history exhibits, attendees enjoyed food, conversation, music, and an inside look at the mission of the Mississippi Wing.

Throughout the evening, guests explored the hangar, toured several vintage aircraft, and learned more about the role the Commemorative Air Force plays in preserving aviation history and honoring the men and women who served our nation.

Members of the wing were on hand to answer questions, share stories, and showcase the aircraft that continue to educate and inspire visitors of all ages.

The event highlighted the strong partnership between the Mississippi Wing and the Madison business community. From longtime residents and business owners to first-time visitors, the hangar was filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and a shared appreciation for the history that surrounds the wing’s collection of aircraft and memorabilia.

Guests had the opportunity to step aboard historic airplanes, meet CAF members and pilots, and experience firsthand why the Mississippi Wing has become such a valuable community resource. The relaxed setting encouraged networking while also introducing many attendees to the organization’s mission for the very first time.

The Mississippi Wing extends its sincere appreciation to the City of Madison and the Madison the City Business Network for partnering with us for this special evening. We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make the event a success.

Events like Jive After Five remind us that aviation history is best preserved when it is shared. By opening our doors to the community, we continue to create opportunities to connect people with the stories, aircraft, and veterans who have helped shape our nation’s history.

We look forward to welcoming the community back to the hangar again soon.
