Mississippi Wing Attends 2025 Commemorative Air Force Conference in Dallas

At the beginning of March, 10 members of the Mississippi Wing of the Commemorative Air Force were westbound to CAF Headquarters in Dallas, Texas, for the 2025 Commemorative Air Force Conference. Held annually, this event brings together CAF Colonels and Cadets from across the world for a weekend packed with learning, connection, and celebration.

A Weekend of Knowledge and Networking

The conference featured a wide variety of learning sessions covering everything from museum archiving and aviation photography and videography to recruiting strategies and organizational development. The sessions offered a treasure trove of information, giving attendees the tools to improve their local Wings and preserve aviation history even more effectively.

One of the biggest benefits of the conference was the opportunity to connect with CAF members nationwide, exchange ideas, and build long-lasting relationships that help strengthen the overall mission of the Commemorative Air Force.

Celebrating Excellence: Rick Bell Inducted into the CAF Hall of Fame

A proud and unforgettable moment for our Wing came during the prestigious CAF Hall of Fame Banquet, where our very own Colonel Rick Bell was honored with an induction into the CAF Hall of Fame. Colonel Bell’s contributions to the CAF and the Mississippi Wing have left a lasting impact, and we couldn’t be more proud to call him one of our own. Congratulations, Colonel Bell!

A special shoutout goes to Mississippi Wing member and CAF General Staff officer, Colonel Dan Fordice, who graciously chauffeured a few of our team members from Mississippi to Dallas. Thank you, Colonel Fordice, for helping make our trip seamless and enjoyable!
