The Mississippi Wing of the Commemorative Air Force is thrilled to announce an exciting new development—an addition to our hangar that will enhance our facilities and help us better serve our mission of preserving aviation history. A dedicated team of volunteers, including Dale Shepherd, Brandon Stevens, Donald Mitchell, Richard Rieger, Zack Munger, and others, are working diligently to bring this vision to life.

What’s Coming with the New Expansion?

This new hangar addition will include several key features that will support both daily operations and long-term goals:

• A fully equipped kitchen to accommodate events and gatherings

• A maintenance closet for improved organization and upkeep

• A new storage area and staircase for better accessibility

• An upstairs space that will become part of our aviation museum

• A new Bigger and Better bar that can be used inside and outside the hangar

• Upgrades to our existing bar for better accessibility
